Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the Pearlexa App ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Sri Lankan law to use the App.

3. License & Restrictions

Pearlexa grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App;
  • Use the App to build a competing product or service.

4. Intellectual Property

All title, ownership, and intellectual property rights in the App and its content remain with Pearlexa and its licensors.

5. Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

The App is free now. Future features may require a paid subscription. All payments are handled by Google or Apple and are subject to their refund policies.

7. Prohibited Conduct & Enforcement

You agree not to tamper with, misuse, or attempt unauthorized access to the App or Pearlexa devices. Violations may lead to suspension, legal action, or damages.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEARLEXA AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Pearlexa, its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or for any reason with or without notice. Upon termination, your license ends and you must stop using the App.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

13. Force Majeure

Pearlexa is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, or network failures.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-App notice.
